On December 18, the President of the Council of State of Spain, María Teresa Fernández de la Vega, and the head of her cabinet, José Martín Pérez de Nanclares, visited museum's Holocaust Exhibition, met with museum’s Director Markas Zingeris and had a guided tour. The guests also met with the heads of the Lithuanian state and congratulated them on behalf of the Spanish government on the 100th anniversary of the re-establishment of Lithuania's statehood.
