Exhibit of the month

This amateur silent film shot some 90 years ago in Ukmergė is 16ʹ48ʺ in duration. It shows moments from the life of two Ukmergė Jewish families – the Misnuners (Mishnuners) and the Rapoports, including views of interwar Ukmergė. The film recorded on a VHS tape was donated by descendants of the Misnuner and the Rapoport families living in the United States. The film was digitised by Algimantas Mikutėnas. Exhibit acc.
