Temporary edition in the museum of Samuel Bak, of the famous German artist and expressionist: Cornelia Gurlitt.
During the Fist Wold War, she worked as a nursing at the Kaiser Army Hospital in Antakalnis, created art that depicted the spirit of the war-town city and discovered the jewish side of her identity.
Further in the publication you will read the story of how the artwork was unexpectedly discovered in the apartment of Cornelia Gurlitt's nephew Cornelius Gurlitt in Munich in 2012, and how in 2017 Gurlitt's artwork ended up at the Museum of Fine Arts Berne.
