A Journey Through History, Poetry and Art: 100th Year Birth Anniversary of Yiddish Writer Abraham Sutzkever
On the  14th of November the granddaughter of the famous Yiddish writer Abraham Sutzkever (1913 – 2010), actor from Israel Hadas Kalderon presented the creative program „A Journey Through History, Poetry and Art: 100th Year Birth Anniversary of Yiddish Writer Abraham Sutzkever“, dedicated for the commemoration of the 70 years of the Vilnius Ghetto liquidation and the International Day for Tolerance. Singer Abigail Ros (Israel) and the choir of Vilnius Užupis High School „Cantus veris“ took part in the event, highly attended by the public. The Tolerance Center of the Vilna Gaon State Jewish Museum, the venue for the event, was full organized the commemorational evening together with the Embassy of Israel to Latvia and Lithuania, the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania and the International Historical Commission
