A concert by pianist Golda Vainberg-Tatz

We kindly invite you to the concert of the world-famous pianist Golda Vainberg-Tatz on 19 September at 6 p.m. at the Tolerance Center (Naugarduko str. 10/2, Vilnius).

Golda Vainberg-Tatz received her musical education in native Lithuania at the Čiurlionis School of Arts, Israel’s Rubin Academy of Music at Tel Aviv University, Manhattan School of Music, and The Juilliard School.
She won the first prize in the Lithuanian State Competition for Young Pianists, full scholarships with distinction from the America Israel Cultural Foundation, Maurice Clairmont awards in Israel, top prizes in Young Keyboard Artists Competition in Michigan, the World Piano Competition in Cincinnati.

As a soloist she performed with Lithuanian National Symphony, Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, St. Kristoforas chamber orchestra, Kaunas State Symphony Orchestra in Lithuania, Moscow Chamber Orchestra (in the Tchaikovsky Grand Hall in Moscow), Shanghai Philharmonic , Israel Symphonieta, Ann Arbor Symphony in Michigan, Cincinnati Symphony in USA. As a recitalist and chamber musician she performed in Europe, Russia, Israel, Canada, China, and USA, including radio and television broadcasts in Lithuania, Israel, Dame Myra Hess series in Chicago, "Sundays Live" in Los Angeles, Radio France, Shanghai radio broadcasts, and performances in major halls in New York. She performed with violinist Raimundas Katilius and the Vilnius String Quartet in many collaborative recitals in Europe, Israel, Canada, USA.

Her prizes and awards include the first prize in the Lithuanian State Competition for Young Pianists, full scholarships with distinction from America Israel Cultural Foundation, Maurice Claremont prestigious awards in Israel, top prizes at Young Keyboard Artists, the World Piano Competition in Cincinnati, the Frinna Awerbuch International Competition in New York, the Prix- du Disque from French Piano Institute in Paris, the Palm Beach Invitational International competition.

Claude Debussy Images Book 2:
"Cloches a travers les feuillies”;
“Et la lune descend sur le temple qui fut”;
Frederic Franciszek Chopin Ballade no 1 op 23 in g minor.

The entrance to the concert is free.

The concert is dedicated to remember the Righteous among the Nations, as the pianist's mother was mother was rescued by the priest Antanas Gobis.
